Hi, I'm Sarah - Nutritional Therapist and Reflexologist in Farnham, Surrey

I’m a BANT-registered nutritional therapist and level 5 clinical reflexologist, and I work with women who are used to looking after everyone else but could really do with looking after themselves a bit more.

I’m not here to give you a perfect diet, tell you to cut out everything you enjoy or hand you a list of things you’re doing wrong. And I certainly don’t expect you to have your life perfectly organised before we start. Instead, I take the time to understand you - your food, sleep, stress, lifestyle, symptoms and everything else that makes up real life.

Sometimes that means making a few simple changes to how you’re eating. Sometimes it means taking an hour to properly switch off. And sometimes, when things aren’t shifting, it means looking a little deeper with testing.

My approach is practical, personal and evidence-informed, with plenty of room for real life along the way. Because looking after yourself shouldn’t feel like another thing on your to-do list.

My story

My journey into nutritional therapy wasn't exactly planned.

Before all of this, I worked in marketing for some big-name companies in London and Sydney. I loved the buzz (and the prosecco fridge), but the pace was intense and my health was starting to suffer. I knew something had to change.

A tricky fertility journey ultimately pushed me to get on with it - I was introduced to nutritional therapy through a chance encounter and, even though at the time I thought it was a bit woo and what could I actually learn, I gave it a go and the rest is history.

I became fascinated by how much more there was to health than I had ever really considered - it wasn't simply about food, it was about the bigger picture - nutrition, lifestyle, environment, stress, sleep and all the different pieces that can influence how we feel and function. I was mesmerised and I knew instantly that I wanted to help other couples who felt the odds were stacked against them.

So I trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in Richmond, gained extensive additional training and knowledge in fertility and women's hormonal health with the Fertility Nutrition Centre, and started working with fertility clients.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting lots of couples as they navigated their own fertility journeys and built their families. See what they had to say about working with me here. Working with fertility clients is still a really important part of what I do, and I continue to see fertility clients today, including women experiencing secondary infertility and those preparing for, or going through, fertility treatment.

A natural evolution

But life has a funny way of evolving. I'm now a mum of two daughters, and becoming a mum naturally changed the women I found myself wanting to support too. Because I know what busy mum life actually feels like.

The school runs. The clubs. The appointments. The endless snacks. The cooking, cleaning and remembering who needs to be where and when. Keeping everyone else going while somehow forgetting to eat lunch yourself. And that feeling that you'll look after yourself when you get time. Except you never really do.

So moving into supporting busy mums felt like a very natural evolution for me. I'm not looking at motherhood from the outside and telling you what you should be doing. I'm living it too. And while I've always taken a genuinely holistic approach to nutritional therapy, looking at diet alongside lifestyle, environment, sleep, stress and everything else that makes up the bigger picture, I started to feel there was another piece missing - the nervous system.

I had started weaving more meditation and nervous system regulation into my own life and was becoming increasingly aware of how important that space to pause, rest and properly switch off can be. I wanted to be able to offer women a more complete, 360-degree approach to their health and wellbeing. Not just helping you look at what you eat or what might be going on beneath the surface, but also giving you the opportunity to stop for a while.

That's what led me to reflexology. I qualified as a Level 5 Clinical Reflexologist with The Complementary Therapy School, adding another string to my bow and another way to support the women I work with.

Where I am now

So that's where I am now - a BANT-registered Nutritional Therapist and Level 5 Clinical Reflexologist, bringing together nutrition, lifestyle, testing, nervous system support and reflexology to offer women a genuinely holistic approach to their health and wellbeing.

Whatever brings you here, my approach is the same - no restrictive diets, no perfection, no judgement. Just looking at the whole picture, figuring out what you need and finding ways to support you that work around your actual life. Because looking after yourself shouldn't have to wait until everything else is sorted.

If you're not sure what kind of support you need, that's absolutely fine. I offer a free 15-minute call before nutritional therapy, so we can have a chat about what's going on and whether I'm the right person to help.
